As a full-time RVer, I’m always looking for ways to make my space more inviting and comfortable. One of my favorite ways to do this is to find little tricks and luxuries that make the RV feel like a luxury resort. Here are my best RV tips for luxurious camping.
Get a Cushy Pair of Slippers
This tip is actually two-fold: the first part is to forbid outdoor shoes inside your RV. We have a designated spot for shoes right inside the door to prevent mud, dirt, sand, or gravel from getting tracked all over our floors. Additionally, we all keep a pair of cozy house slippers by the door so that we never have to worry about our feet getting cold while moving around the RV.
Upgrade Your Bedding
The next key part of making your space feel more luxurious is not to skimp on the bedding. I highly recommend getting a mattress topper for your RV mattress or changing out the thing entirely. For us, the firmness of the RV mattress was an improvement we both loved; for others, it simply has to go. Additionally, pick out bedding for your RV will make you excited to crawl into bed at night.
Bring Good Towels
Okay, this is something I always talk myself out of, but when I have them available, I’m like a kid in a candy store. Spend the extra money on some really great towels. It’s worth it. Having a massive, soft, cushy towel to wrap up in after a shower is a great way to feel more like you’re living that life of luxury you deserve.
Bonus tip: Get a robe that you can wear out of the shower or around the RV for an even more spa-like experience.
Keep it Smelling Great
One of the biggest things I notice when I step into a new space is the smell. If there’s a clean, fresh smell throughout your RV, you’re more likely to feel like you’re staying at one of those ritzy resorts.
